Processing Times

Tracking Information

- Initial status may show “Label Created” or “Processing” — this is normal
- Once in the UK, Royal Mail usually handles final delivery
- Contact us if no tracking updates appear after 3 days

Our Fulfilment Model
Herbert Accessory is a UK-registered company (Silkon Global Ltd, Company No. 15248667) that ships directly from specialist manufacturing partners in China. This model allows us to work directly with skilled silk artisans in Hangzhou — a region with centuries of silk craftsmanship — and pass the savings directly to our customers without compromising on quality.
All UK orders are fulfilled with full customs documentation, and all duties and VAT are included in your order price. UK consumer protection law applies to every purchase.
Shipping Restrictions
We are currently unable to ship to:
- PO Boxes (for certain carriers)
- Military APO/FPO addresses (please contact us for alternatives)
- Certain remote Scottish islands (may incur surcharges)
Delivery Issues
Failed Delivery Attempts
If the courier cannot deliver:
- You will receive a notification card or email
- Item held at local Royal Mail depot or collection point for 7–14 days
- Follow the instructions provided to arrange redelivery or collection
- After the holding period, items return to us and we will contact you
Delayed Deliveries
- Days 1–10: Normal delivery window — track your order using the number provided
- Days 11–14: Contact us at support@herbertaccessory.site and we will investigate with the courier
- After Day 15: We will issue a full refund or resend your order at no cost — your choice
Lost Packages
If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your order:
Within 48 hours:
- Check with neighbours and household members
- Check building reception or concierge
- Check safe places (porch, garage)
- Verify the delivery address was correct
After 48 hours: Contact us at support@herbertaccessory.site. We will investigate with the courier, file an insurance claim if necessary, and reship or refund as appropriate.
Damaged in Transit
If your package arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the outer packaging and the product
- Contact us within 48 hours at support@herbertaccessory.site
- Include your order number and photos
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund immediately
- Please keep the damaged item until we confirm (required for insurance claim)
Customs & Import Duties
UK Orders (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland)
All duties and VAT are included in your order price. You will not be charged anything additional at delivery. We handle all customs documentation.
International Orders (Outside UK)
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees applicable in their country. We declare accurate values on all shipments as legally required. Customs charges vary by country — please check with your local customs office before ordering. We have no control over these charges, and delivery may be delayed during customs processing.
Quality Assurance
Every order undergoes quality inspection, verification against order details, secure packaging, proper labelling and documentation, and insurance coverage before dispatch.
If there is a problem with your order:
- Wrong item sent: We cover return shipping and send the correct item
- Damaged in transit: Full replacement or refund
- Quality issue: Return for full refund within 14 days
- Lost in shipping: Full refund or replacement
