Our scarves are made in Hangzhou — the city that has defined silk craftsmanship for centuries. Working directly with our manufacturing partners there is not a compromise; it is the reason the quality is what it is. Every order is shipped directly from the atelier to your door, with full tracking and all UK duties and VAT included.
The Scarves
Our pure silk scarves are crafted from 100% mulberry silk — fine, naturally lustrous, and soft against the skin. Our silk and wool blends bring together the luminosity of silk with the warmth of fine wool, making them particularly well suited to the cooler months.
Both collections are made with authentic natural fibres and finished with the attention to detail that defines the Herbert standard.
Authentic mulberry silk is cool and smooth to the touch, warms quickly against the skin, and carries a natural — never synthetic — sheen. We stand behind every piece we offer, and our 30-day returns policy reflects that confidence.
Our collection includes square, rectangular, and triangular scarves across a range of sizes. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page. As with all handcrafted pieces, slight variations are a natural part of the making.
Silk rewards gentle handling. We recommend hand washing in cool water with a mild detergent, or dry cleaning for pieces you wish to keep in pristine condition. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight, and iron on a low silk setting while slightly damp if needed. Store folded in a breathable bag.
We photograph our scarves carefully to represent their colours as faithfully as possible. Screen calibration and natural lighting variations may cause slight differences in appearance. We provide multiple images and detailed descriptions to help you choose with confidence.
Ordering
Browse the collection, select your scarf, and proceed through checkout. You will receive a confirmation by email as soon as your order is placed.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed through encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
Your payment details are handled through SSL-encrypted, certified processors (Stripe and PayPal). We do not store complete card details.
Please contact us at support@herbertaccessory.site as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate changes before dispatch. Once an order has shipped, amendments are no longer possible.
All orders are packaged with care as standard. A premium gift box with ribbon is available upon request — please mention this at checkout or contact us with your order number. Personalised gift cards are included complimentarily.

Yes. Please note that for international orders, customs duties and import taxes outside the UK are the responsibility of the recipient.
A tracking number will be sent by email once your order has been dispatched. Updates typically appear within 24–48 hours of shipping.
If your order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, please contact us at support@herbertaccessory.site and we will investigate promptly. If the order cannot be located, we will arrange a full replacement or refund.
Yes. All UK duties and VAT are included in your purchase price. There are no additional charges upon delivery.
Returns & Refunds
Yes. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to return any item, provided it is unused and in its original condition. Please see our Returns Policy for full details.

Refunds are processed upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.
For change-of-mind returns, the cost of return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Where an item is faulty or incorrect, we cover all associated return costs in full.
Returns are inspected within 2–3 business days of receipt. Refunds are issued within 14 days, with funds typically appearing in your account within a further 5–10 business days depending on your card provider.
Please contact us within 48 hours at support@herbertaccessory.site and include photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund and cover all return costs.
We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different piece, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order at your convenience.

Every scarf is subject to material verification and quality inspection before it is dispatched. Packaging is chosen to ensure your piece arrives in the condition it left.
