Crimson Horse Blessing pairs a vivid red face with a softer rose reverse, both woven with auspicious horse motifs and floral ornament. The composition carries the celebratory warmth of festive dressing, yet the detailing remains refined enough for evening wear and formal layering. Because the shawl is double-sided, each face offers a distinct mood.
Craft
This cape shawl is made from Gambiered Canton Gauze in pure silk, finished in a 190 x 53 cm format with hand-finished edges. The cloth has the poised body and subtle texture that make xiangyun sha distinctive, while the double-sided construction gives the piece greater visual depth.
The long format allows the shawl to sit lightly across the shoulders, while still offering enough length to wrap and drape. In addition, the reversible weave makes it easy to shift between the brighter red face and the quieter rose side.
How to Wear It
Crimson Horse Blessing is designed for occasion dressing as much as daily layering. Therefore, it works well over knitwear, tailoring, or traditional dress.
