Lotus Pod Blessing unfolds in muted gold, silver-grey, and warm brown, with lotus pod and floral motifs scattered across both faces of the shawl. The colouring is restrained, yet the metallic warmth gives the piece a quiet presence. Because the shawl is reversible, it shifts easily between a lighter outer face and a deeper brown reverse.
Craft
This cape shawl is made from Gambiered Canton Gauze in pure silk, finished in a 160 x 35 cm format with hand-finished edges. The cloth has the poised texture and soft body that give xiangyun sha its character, while the reversible construction adds depth to the overall composition.
The long format lets the shawl sit lightly across the shoulders or wrap close at the neck. In addition, the gentler length makes it easy to style through spring and autumn without the volume of a larger cape.
How to Wear It
Lotus Pod Blessing is designed for flexible layering. Therefore, it works as a long scarf, a light shoulder wrap, or a polished finishing piece over tailoring and knitwear.
