Design

Ceylon Paisley is composed of large, interlocking medallions drawn across a teal-green ground. Each medallion is filled with a dense field of etched filigree — fine leaves, nested curves, and small floral forms that resolve slowly in detail. A warm amber stripe frames the outer edge, while the ground shifts between pale sage and deeper teal, so the composition carries quiet depth without adding visual weight.

Craft

The cloth is 100% Mulberry Silk in 8 momme silk georgette. At this weight, the fabric belongs to the lighter, more fluid end of the silk range. It falls in long, pliant folds and packs almost flat in transit.

Digital printing preserves the fine-line detail across the full 103 × 103 cm square, from the large central medallion to the engraved border motifs. In addition, the hand-rolled edge runs the full perimeter and closes each side cleanly without stiffening the fall of the cloth.

Guide

The 103cm square works well as a shoulder shawl or folded on the bias for a loose neck scarf.
