Design
Carriage Crescent splits the square into two halves: warm camel brown on one side, soft ivory on the other. Open crescent monograms are scattered across both grounds, with small horse-drawn carriage motifs printed between them in ivory on the brown half and in deep navy on the ivory half. A fine dark border runs around the edge and holds the two-tone composition together.
Craft
The scarf is woven from 30% silk and 70% wool, a blend that gives the cloth a matte, slightly brushed surface with a visible herringbone twill grain. The wool content adds warmth and body for autumn and winter, while the silk keeps the drape soft and the printed detail sharp.
The finished size is 65 x 65 cm and the weight is approximately 42 g. The design is applied by digital print and the edges are hand-rolled. Please allow for slight size measure variations in hand-finished pieces.
How to Wear It
The two-tone construction means the scarf reads differently depending on how it is folded, so one square gives several looks.
- Fold it on the diagonal and knot it at the neck to show both the camel and ivory halves.
- Roll it into a narrow band and tie it so only the brown side is visible.
- Wear it over a grey, navy, or cream knit through the cooler months.
- Loop it around a bag handle as a warm-toned accent.
Care
This is a wool-rich blend, so dry cleaning is recommended. If washing at home, use cool water with a gentle detergent, do not wring, dry flat away from direct sun, and press on a low setting from the reverse.
