Design
Featherlight is a plain, solid-colour wrap in a soft plain weave, made to work equally as a scarf around the neck or a full shawl across the shoulders. The cloth is fine enough to be almost transparent when held up to the light, yet warm enough for an air-conditioned office or a cool evening out. It is available in three quiet neutrals: Milk White, Beige, and Khaki.
Craft
The wrap is woven from 100% goat cashmere in a lightweight plain weave. At approximately 72g for a 195 x 90 cm piece, it is remarkably light for its size, and the open, airy weave gives it a soft drape rather than the density of a heavier knit. The long edges are finished with a fine fringe.
Please allow for slight size measure variations of 1-3 cm in hand-finished pieces, which is normal for cashmere at this weight.
How to Wear It
The length and lightness make this a genuinely dual-purpose piece.
- Loop it loosely around the neck as an everyday scarf over a knit or shirt.
- Open it fully across the shoulders as a shawl over a dress or blouse.
- Knot it at the front for a more fitted, structured look.
- Fold it lengthwise into a narrow band for a lighter, close layer indoors.
Care
This piece is not machine washable. Dry cleaning is recommended. If hand washing, use cold water and a gentle motion, avoid wringing, and dry away from direct sun. Keep it away from perfume, cosmetics, and prolonged contact with sweat, which can cause localised yellowing or staining over time. As with any cashmere, store it folded rather than on a hanger and keep it away from moths when not in regular use.
