Lace Edge Wool Shawl Cardigan

Design

This is a soft knitted wool shawl that also wears as an open cardigan. It drapes loosely over the shoulders with wide, relaxed sleeves formed by the cut, and is finished with a deep lace band along the hem. It comes in three colours: Taupe, Oatmeal and Black.

Craft

The shawl is knitted from 100% wool, with a matching lace trim at the hem. The knit is light and fluid, so it layers easily over a dress, blouse or thin knit without adding bulk. It is a single size, designed to sit loosely.

How to Wear It

One piece, two ways of wearing it.

• Wear it open as a light cardigan over a dress or blouse.
• Drape it across the shoulders as a shawl in air-conditioned rooms.
• Let the lace hem show over slim trousers or a pencil skirt.
• Choose Black for evening, Oatmeal or Taupe for daytime.

Care

Hand wash in cold water with a wool-safe detergent, or dry clean. Do not wring or tumble dry. Reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat and sun. Take care with the lace hem, which can snag on jewellery or rough surfaces. Store folded rather than hung.
