Design
Line Rose draws roses as continuous single-line sketches, scattered loosely across a soft cream ground with small dot motifs between them. A plain band runs just inside the edge and frames the drawing without competing with it. The design comes in two tones: a muted grey green that reads cool and quiet, and a warm light brown that sits closer to camel.
Craft
The scarf is woven from 100% Australian Merino wool. Merino is a fine, soft wool with good natural elasticity, and woven this lightly it gives a scarf that holds warmth without weight or bulk. The surface has a gentle matte finish that suits the sketched print.
The finished size is 95 x 95 cm, large enough to fold as a neck square or open across the shoulders. The edges are hand-rolled. Please allow for slight size measure variations in hand-finished pieces.
How to Wear It
A 95 cm square is a genuinely flexible size, and the lightweight Merino means it works well beyond the coldest months.
- Fold it on the diagonal and knot it at the neck over a coat or knit.
- Open it across the shoulders as a light wrap indoors.
- Roll it into a soft band and loop it twice for a close, warm collar.
- Wear it over cream, camel, grey, or navy, which both colourways sit against naturally.
Care
Wool responds best to gentle handling. Dry cleaning is recommended. If washing at home, use cool water with a wool-safe detergent, do not wring or rub, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat and sun. Store folded rather than hung, and keep it away from jewellery and rough surfaces.
