Floral Luo Gauze
花罗 — floral luo gauze — is among the oldest silk weave traditions in China, traceable to the Shang dynasty some 5,600 years ago and today recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The defining technique — 绞经, twisted warp — creates a fine lattice of openings across the cloth, giving the fabric a gentle translucency, natural breathability, and a floating relief effect in certain light. The botanical prints are applied over this woven structure, so the design appears to emerge from within the cloth. Each piece is hand-rolled and arrives in luxury gift packaging.
